Keith Schmitz

Keith is a St. Cloud State University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Education. He has a wealth of experience, having worked in several charter schools in the St. Cloud area before moving to Austin, MN. Upon his return to St. Cloud, he joined Athlos and is now celebrating his 3rd year with Athlos Academy!

Keith is passionate about being part of Athlos and is excited about the future. He loves seeing students and teachers come together to make Athlos an amazing school. As an educator, his top goal is to help his students grow into respectable adults and teach them to be good role models for younger kids at Athlos.

One of his best qualities is his ability to relate to his students by sharing their interests, which helps him form strong connections with them. “I encourage my students to share their interests so I can better know them.” Keith was initially drawn to the Athlos model because it focuses on the whole student, not just their test scores. “It’s truly a place where kids are cared for,” he said.
