The Iditarod Dog Sled Race

Each class will be assigned a musher to track during the race which begins on March 6th and runs anywhere from 8-15 days. Dogs, mushers, and handlers use grit, perseverance, energy, zest, and optimism to race 852 miles across Alaska.

March 8th – 12th

Monday:

• Minnesota Monday: Minnesota themed clothes

Tuesday:

• Paul Bunyan Tuesday: Flannel Day

Wednesday:

• Winter Wonderland Wednesday: Wear white

Thursday:

• Winter hat day

Friday:

• Winter Wear Day: Wear your warmest clothes and the most layers possible!
• Titan-a-rod: Class vs. class competitions of various winter outdoor activities
• The Mushing Experience: Silent Run Adventures, meet the mushers and their dogs!
