School Prepares for Distance Learning

Alert! Attention! Announcement!

Dear Athlos families,

Due to the continued rise in COVID-19 cases in Stearns County, and following recommended guidelines provided by the Minnesota Department of Health, it is likely all students will move to a distance learning model beginning on Wednesday, November 11, 2020.

Communication will be shared by teachers that will include distance learning requirements and plans for all students.

Learning materials will be sent home with students on Monday, November 9 for those in group A, and Tuesday, November 10 for those in group B.

Watch for an email later today regarding technology and meal distribution.  If you have already responded to the school regarding meals and technology, you do not need to respond a second time.

In the meantime, as a reminder for the health of all students and staff:

  • If your child tests positive for COVID-19, please contact Kate Hill at khill@athlosstcloud.org or (320) 281-4430 extension 9204.
  • If your child is sick and/or exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 please keep them home.
  • If your child has had a known exposure to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, or if there is a suspected positive or positive case in the household, please keep your child home.
