Important Start of School Updates for On-Campus Students

Dear Athlos families,

We are looking forward to the start of school and seeing our students both in-person and online!

As we prepare to return to campus, we have many important updates to share. We appreciate your partnership in assuring students have an excellent start to the new school year.

We are asking that all families fill out our short Start Date and Busing Survey to let us know your preferences for start date and transportation.

Virtual Back to School Orientations

Join us for a virtual back-to-school orientation for both on-campus learners and distance learners on Wednesday, September 2!

There will be two virtual sessions:

  • 9:00–10:00 a.m.
  • 2:00–3:00 p.m.

Zoom links will be sent by email.

These sessions will be recorded and available the following Monday if you are unable to join a session live. Teachers in each grade will be presenting during this time about expectations, procedures, and much more. You can bring questions to orientation. This is going to be a great opportunity to meet your teachers and classmates!

Supply and Medicine Dropoff

There is a change to our supply and medication drop-off procedures due to weather. Instead of using Driveline, please bring your supplies, in a paper bag clearly marked with your child’s name and grade, into the vestibule of the school. Drop them between the entry doors to the building and the office Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
For medication drop off, please bring medicine into the front office and leave it with front office staff.

Teacher Assignments

You may now find your teacher assignments in PowerSchool. Need help logging in to PowerSchool or can’t find your teacher assignment? Email registrar@athlosstcloud.org or contact the front office at (320) 281-4430.

Supply Lists

Please pay special attention to the face covering and water bottle requirements. These will be necessary to assure the health of our students and staff. (Special exceptions exist for face coverings. Please contact the front office if you have questions or concerns regarding masks.)

Driveline Tags

Driveline tags will be given to students on the first day of school. Driveline numbers will be sent to families prior to the first day of school to use in place of tags.

Health Screening

As a reminder, we are taking every precaution to assure the health and wellbeing of students and staff. Temperature checks will be administered each morning and students, staff, and visitors on campus will be expected to practice social distancing. More information can be found in our Reopening Plan.

Again, thank you for your support as we prepare to return to school.

Sincerely,

Randy Vetsch
