We are pleased to announce that Heather Ebnet has joined Athlos Academy of St. Cloud as our new Executive Director. Ms. Ebnet brings over 25 years of educational experience, having served in various roles including classroom teacher, Talent Development Specialist, Academic Coach, Administrative Intern, Assistant MS Principal, and Elementary Lead Principal.
Ms. Ebnet’s journey in education began with her BS degree in elementary education from the College of Saint Benedict in 1996. She has taught a wide range of grades from K to Post Secondary Courses. In 2003, she received an MS degree in Human Relations and Multicultural Education, and most recently, she obtained her Principal Licensure through St. Mary’s University.
Ms. Ebnet holds an active teaching license in Minnesota for Grades 1-6 and was honored as the Principal of the Year by the Central MN Counselors Association for her support of Social Emotional Learning in schools. She is a passionate advocate for educating the whole child and ensuring that all students have equitable access to high-quality instruction.
We are excited about the fresh perspective and dedication that Ms. Ebnet brings to our school. We look forward to seeing the positive impact she will have on our community.
