Position: Intervention Teacher

Reports to: Intervention Coordinator

Minimum Qualifications Required:

Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree.

Experience Required: Teaching experience preferred, but not required.

Certification Required: Valid Minnesota teacher certification required or willingness to obtain certification.

Job Duties:

1. Administer testing and progress monitoring in one-on-one and small group settings.

2. Analyze and use assessment data to form student groups and plan instruction.

3. Deliver research-based targeted instruction to small groups of students.

4. Ongoing monitoring of students receiving intervention services.

5. Work collaboratively with general and special education teachers when appropriate.

6. Oversee the work of Title 1 paraprofessionals.

7. Other duties as assigned.
