Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Associates degree or two years of management experience required
  • Experience: HR or related experience in a school office setting; SHRM certification preferred

Job Duties:

  • Manage new employee onboarding including gathering required paperwork and ensure completion of background check
  • Work closely with the financial controller to process payroll
  • Manage staff PTO balances
  • Manage teacher absence and substitute process using Frontline Education software
  • Act as human resources manager at the school site
  • Work with homecourt operations team and be the main on-site point of contact for all staff hiring, dismissal, disputes, and HR escalations
  • Ensure annual background check is completed and passed by all employees
  • Prepare materials for school board meetings
  • Assist director with required reports
  • Serve on the Crisis Management Team
  • Type, proofread copy, distribute, and file correspondence as needed or requested
  • Act as a liaison between the school and the community when serving the public in the office
  • Other duties as assigned by director
