2ND GRADE TEACHER

About Ms. Johnson

Kayla Johnson graduated from St. Cloud State University in 2012. Since graduating, Johnson was a long-term substitute in a third grade classroom, taught fourth grade, and was an educational assistant. She recently completed her ninth summer working at KIDSTOP.

Johnson chose to work with Athlos Academy of St. Cloud because of the school’s focus on the 12 Performance Character traits.

“My goal is to make the first year at Athlos a positive experience for both my students and their families,” she said.

Favorite Performance Character Trait: Grit

When it comes to the 12 Performance Character traits Athlos teaches, grit resonates most with Johnson.

“Everyone experiences failure in life, and having the courage to continue working hard, despite failing, can help you grow as a person and be rewarding in the end.”
