KINDERGARTEN TEACHER

About Mr. Burrer

Daniel Burrer graduated from Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. After graduating, Burrer spent several years substitute teaching before teaching at All Saints Preschool and Child Care in Minnetonka, MN.

Burrer chose to work at Athlos Academy because he was encouraged by the school’s desire to provide children with the skills and lifestyle choices they need to achieve a great level of success in today’s modern world.

“I want to create in them an excitement about coming to school each day within a safe, nurturing, and fun environment,” he said.

Favorite Performance Character Trait: Curiosity

“I love learning about how different things work and helping others to learn about how other things work,” Burrer said. “It is why I have a passion for working with young children. Working with kindergartners gives you the chance to witness many of these ‘Ah-ha’ moments as things begin to make sense for them on a regular basis.”
