About Ms. Schmitz

Angela Schmitz earned her bachelor’s degree from Saint Cloud State University and has taught students in third, fourth, and fifth grade for the past 17 years.

“I chose Athlos Academy because of the three pillars and the philosophy of teaching the whole child,” Schmitz said.

Schmitz’s goal is to help make Athlos a success by helping the teachers become the best they can be and supporting them in every way.

“I hope to make many connections with families and make sure they feel welcome in the building at all times,” she said. “I want the students to love coming to school each day, just as I always did.”

Favorite Performance Character Trait: Integrity

I think being a leader and doing the right thing, even when no one is looking, is an essential character trait.
