About the Board
Andrew Grimsley – Board Chair
Andrew Grimsley serves as the board chair of the Athlos Academy of St. Cloud governing board. Grimsley has served on the board since May of 2019.
Grimsley has strength in mobilizing, equipping, and energizing leaders to experience development and growth cultivation. In his current role as a Colonial Life Insurance Producer, Grimsley manages and mentors a team of 25 benefits counselors. In this position, he has received the recognition of Benefits Counselor of the Year for the Midwest Territory six consecutive years in a row.
He is also involved in youth ministry and has served as an associate/small group pastor. Grimsley earned his bachelor’s degree in youth ministry and biblical studies from North Central University.
Patricia King – Board Member
Patricia King serves as the vice board chair and has served since January 2021.
Aaron Schwenzfeier – Secretary
Aaron Schwenzfeier serves as the secretary of the Athlos Academy of St. Cloud governing board. Schwenzfeier has served on the board since July 2018.
Schwenzfeier has served as the director of Heathy Body/athletic director at Athlos Academy of St. Cloud since the schools opening in 2016. Prior to working at Athlos, Schwenzfeier served as the associate director of strength and conditioning coach at the University of North Dakota, where he still instructs kinesiology.
He has numerous publications and has given many notable presentations and speeches. Schwenzfeier earned his bachelor’s degree in physical education and his master’s degree in kinesiology from the University of North Dakota.
Noor Yussuf – Finance Committee Chair
Noor Yussuf serves as finance committee chair of the Athlos Academy of St. Cloud governing board. Yussuf has served on the board since May 2019.
Rebecca Hull – Vice Chair
Rebecca Hull serves as the treasurer of the Athlos Academy of St. Cloud governing board. Hull has served on the board since November 2018.
Hull joined Athlos Academy of St. Cloud in the fall of 2017 as an elementary school teacher. She graduated from Bemidji State University in 2008, where she received a degree in K-6 elementary education with a specialty in communication arts and literature for grades 5-8. Following completion of college, Hull spent a year in AmeriCorps as a ReadingCorps tutor, as well as time as a special education paraprofessional. She taught second grade at another charter school in the St. Cloud area in the 2010-2017 academic years.
Hull’s goal is to help Athlos Academy of St. Cloud become a strong, positive, and dynamic pillar in the St. Cloud area. “I want to see the students of Athlos be successful by building strong team relationships with a foundation of strong academic teaching,” she said.
